A/Prof Moore graduated from Flinders University and trained in Histopathology at Adelaide Children’s Hospital, the IMVS, Flinders Medical Centre and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
She was the Adelaide Children’s Hospital Histopathology Registrar from 1986-1990. After her training, she moved to the UK and was appointed Consultant Paediatric Pathologist at St Mary’s Hospital and Pendlebury Children’s Hospital in Manchester.
She returned to Adelaide and to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital as Senior Consultant Pathologist in 1999 and was appointed Head of Department in 2007.
A/Prof Moore’s major interests are in paediatric and perinatal pathology with special interests in fetal dysmorphology, placental pathology, paediatric renal pathology and paediatric tumours.
