Frank Dunn calls it a day

18 April 2019

Volunteers make such a positive difference to our organisation and are an integral part of how SA Pathology connects us to the local community.

And after 28 years as a Volunteer in Port Augusta, we bid farewell to Frank who has been dropping off specimens, supplies and reports to local doctors surgeries, nursing homes and other locations as required.

The 82 year old is a mad crows fan, honest, reliable and likes to crack an occasional joke or two when out on his courier round.  Craig Wilsdon said Frank‚Äôs infectious sense of humour will be missed around the office.

"Frank often sounds me out when he arrives at 10am on Monday for the start of his courier round to see how I am going. I'm sure he replicates this everywhere he goes," Mr Wilsdon said.  "I know the local surgeries appreciate our Volunteers and Frank is no exception. Not only will we miss him, but so will they."
