iPath now offers online ordering for all COVID-19 and respiratory testing

Electronic ordering of COVID-19 and respiratory tests via the iPath application is fast and convenient, and patients can present to any SA Pathology drive through collection facility to undertake their respiratory testing.

iPath’s new electronic ordering functionality is the latest enhancement to the web-based application. A recent upgrade provides improved functionality and access to patient results anywhere, anytime, regardless of whether the clinician is the requesting or “copy to” doctor.

Featuring a new streamlined look, our enhanced search functionality gives the clinician the ability to search for patients results that they did not request and were not copied in to, including results available in the public hospital system, offering optimised continuity of care for patients.

Featuring a handy dashboard with the ability to flag patients, iPath provides faster access to results. And with two search options, clinicians can now search by patient using patient demographic details or by result using the laboratory accession number.

iPath offers access to all* results for diagnostic pathology tests performed by SA Pathology.
