Dr Adam Swalling completed a Degree in Podiatry at the University of South Australia and subsequently completed a diploma in Paramedical studies and spent 8 years working as a paramedic in Adelaide prior to graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Flinders University in 2010.
He did his junior doctor years at Flinders Medical Centre and completed a year of general practice training before commencing Anatomical Pathology with SA Pathology in 2014 for which he received his Fellowship in 2019.
Dr Swalling rejoined SA Pathology as a Consultant Pathologist in 2021, at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
He enjoys all aspects of anatomical pathology and cytopathology but has developed sub specialty interests in breast and gastrointestinal pathology.
