Dr Catriona Brennan graduated from the University of Adelaide (MBBS) in 2000 and later completed a Diploma in Tropical Medicine at the Gorgas Memorial Institute in Peru in 2003. She obtained her Fellowship in Anatomical Pathology in 2008.
She had the opportunity to work in Queensland (Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane) and within the private sector in Adelaide before commencing full time employment with SA Pathology in late 2010.
She is based at Flinders Medical Centre where she participates in the teaching and lecturing of medical students at Flinders University. She undertakes a broad range of general surgical pathology work. Her multidisciplinary team groups are the hepatobiliary and upper gastrointestinal units, and also the breast surgical unit. She also provides pathology input for the cutaneous lymphoma meeting which is held monthly.
