International Pathology Day

Today is International Pathology Day, a day to acknowledge the unique and vital contribution that pathology makes to communities across the globe. 70 percent of medical decisions rely on pathology and in Australia alone over 500 million tests are requested annually by clinicians to assist in the screening, diagnosis and monitoring of disease.

SA Pathology is proud to be the public provider of pathology services for all South Australians and with 17 laboratories across the state and over 1500 staff working within all major pathology disciplines, today it is important to recognise the positive impact that we have as an industry and an organisation to the ongoing health and wellbeing of all members within our community.
