Women’s Health Week 2-6 September 2019

02 September 2019

Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week is a week dedicated to all women to make good health a priority.

With ‘lack of time’ and ‘health not being a priority’ nominated as the two biggest barriers for women not maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Women’s Health Week is the time for everyone to do something to make positive changes.

SA Pathology encourages communities, workplaces and individuals to visit Women’s Health Week site for daily information, tools and tips to help achieve Jean Hailes’ goal of unlocking your own powers for good health.

In particular, to see your doctor every year for a women’s health check, to help in the prevention and early detection of any health issues.

SA Pathology is proud to be an employer with women representing over 70% of the workforce, and the only pathology laboratory in South Australia that performs Human Papillomavirus testing on-site for the Cervical Screening Test (CST), completing over 700 requests every week.
