If you are RAT Positive you no longer need a PCR test. Please report your Positive result to SA Health. SA Health recommends staying home until you no longer have symptoms. Contact your GP if you meet requirements for Antivirals.

Full panel respiratory testing* (including COVID-19) is available at select collection centres across South Australia. A GP referral is required within Metro Adelaide and bookings are preferred.

Patient results
We will send COVID-19 results direct to the patient or nominated contact via a text message. All respiratory test results are sent to the requesting doctor.
SA Pathology sends COVID-19 results for children under 14 years of age via text message to the custodial parent.
Information for GPs
- Please include a valid mobile phone number on the request form.
- Results can be accessed via iPath, EDI or fax if requested.
- Please indicate on the pathology request form if results are to be faxed.
Adelaide Domiciliary Service
A dedicated domiciliary service is available for aged care facilities, vulnerable patients, etc.
Bookings are essential, phone 8222 3000 or fax 8222 8950.
